SWEET ENUFF Movement Moves with Maimonades Hospital

On February 26 the SWEET ENUFF Dream Team hung out with kids at Maimonades Diabetes Center in Brooklyn.  We had some great dialogues about diabetes, a super carb conscious lunch and then everyone, Moms, Dads and siblings got moving with Ms Jordan and the Motion Potion.  Everyone had a great time.

Mt. Vernon - Day of Inspiration and Motivation

On Saturday March 18 the SWEET ENUFF Youth Ambassadors of Good Health performed for the annual Links luncheon at Longfellow Middle School in Mt. Vernon.  With over 100 guests in attendance, the kids wowed the audience with their energetic dancing, motivating everyone to join the SWEET ENUFF Motion Potion and get moving. Special cameo performances were made by the RealiTee Dance Company, also under the direction of Ms Amy Jordan. Ms. Jordan addressed the attendees as keynote speaker for the day.  She spoke strongly of this 'Revolution' of Change that is happening to encourage people to make simple changes to improve their health and prevent diabetes complications.

Diabetes Coaching Class
Free two-hour coaching sessions lead by Dana Hariton, Certified Life Coach (www.diabreticcoaching.com) and special guest diabetes educators and nutritionists to help women living with, at risk of or affected by diabetes improve their methods of care, feel better and live healthier lives. Our casual and friendly approach encourages participants to
share their knowledge, experiences, triumphs and concerns about living with diabetes. Participants are challenged to apply one or more of the four Bee A DIVA Principles:
Be Disciplined, Informed, Visible and Active.

Motion Potion returns to Maimonades.  The theme, moving through time, a dramatic presentation.  The night will encompass youth writing an original dramatic presentation about their life with diabetes.
